Mansion House Windows

There are a lot of window companies that claim that their window looks like a steel window. Generally this is not the case. The characteristics of welded on hinges and classic ironmongery including peg stays is difficult to replicate. Our knowledge and history of dealing with steel windows helps us to ensure that the product that we offer will help to compliment the aethetics of your home without reducing glass area, natural light or the window character.

Pioneer AG210 WindowGovette Windows are exclusive agents for the supply and installation of a new aluminium window system that comes as close as you can get to a steel window. This now allows our customers to have the choice of a traditional steel window or more thermally efficient aluminium window which also has cost benefits.

Hinges can be weld on 'pear drop' (as the photo above), weld on 'extended' or concealed friction.

As standard all corners are fully welded to ensure a smooth finish and a more authentic look. This system is the only window and door system to offer this as standard.

The opening casements are available with multi locking handles which have been designed with a classic look and finish. You can also have peg stays to match.

The fanlight windows are available with traditional peg stays or multi locking handles.

The thermal peformance of this window is far superior to standard steel sections. The unique GRP thermal break ensures that the windows can achieve an overall window U value of 1.6 W/m2K (the current building regulations require a 1.6 W/m2K overall window rating for occupied dwellings) and exceeds current requirements.

Outer frame options include an odd leg system (for fitting to timber sub frames or direct fixed) as well as an equal leg section (for stone surround work).

Colour finishes (including dual colour) are available to whatever colour you want from our range of RAL colours.

Double glazed options include normal high performance clear and safety glass, applied leads in a diamond or rectangle pattern which are aged and the joints are soldered to give a more authentic feel, applied bars are also available to give a cottage pane 'Georgian' or horizontal bar 'Art Deco' appearance.
