W40 steel sections were developed in response to the new building regulation relating to heat loss through buildings.

These windows can be made as hinged side or top hung windows/doors or pivoted horizontal or vertical windows.

They can accommodate up to a 24 mm double glazed unit and yet the sight lines are still very slim. This allows for large glazed areas to be manufactured (fixed lights can have up to a 9400 mm perimeter) and looks great in modern commercial or architectural buildings.

W20 sections were designed some forty years ago and are still going strong.

They are regularly specified for various building types including schools, offices, museums and other construction projects as they have slim sections that are very strong and can be inside or outside glazed using single glass or up to a 16 mm double glazed unit.

The windows are protected with a rust proof hot dip galvanised finish and can be polyester powder coat finished to any colour in the RAL chart.
